Summary: (VxWorks Project)

Software Engineer III is responsible for assisting the development team with all aspects of software design and coding that align with the overall goals of our business. The duties of the Software Engineer III include attending design meetings. Depending on the software development assignments, this individual may be involved in various projects, including but not limited to:

• Development of Software Support Kit (SSK) packages.
• Design and development of GUI-based QT sample programs and GUI-based Windows test programs.

Summary:

As the Quality Control Inspector Level 2, you perform in-process and final inspections of electronic and mechanical assemblies, components, and systems to ensure compliance with North Atlantic Industries’ quality standards and customer requirements. Your work directly supports product reliability, regulatory compliance, and the delivery of mission-critical electronics.

Requirements

• Inspect PCB assemblies, mechanical assemblies, and subassemblies for conformance to engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
• Perform in-process, first-article, and final inspections using microscopes, measurement tools, mechanical gauges, and electronic test equipment.
• Document inspection results, nonconformances, and corrective actions clearly and accurately in NAI’s quality management system.
• Verify proper soldering quality, component placement, workmanship, and mechanical fitment to meet NAI’s aerospace and defense industry requirements.
• Inspect machined parts, enclosures, for dimensional accuracy and proper assembly.

Summary:

As the Quality Assurance Engineer II, you provide critical support to ensure the quality and reliability of North Atlantic Industries’ electronic systems throughout the manufacturing process. You coordinate across departments, suppliers, and customers, including government agencies, to identify and resolve quality issues that directly impact production yield, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.

• Support failure analysis for supplier related issues and institute supplier corrective actions.

Summary:

As the 2nd Shift Production Test Lead, you oversee testing operations for Power and I/O electronic products, ensuring that all test processes are executed accurately and efficiently during second shift. You are responsible for supporting test setups, troubleshooting issues, monitoring production floor activity, and ensuring a smooth handoff between first and second shift. Summary:

The Application Engineer II will provide customer technical support in both pre and post sales settings. In addition, he/she will have the ability to communicate internally any product utilization challenges and/or customer specific requirements. The Application Engineer will support our Industries’ products and will report to the AE Manager.

Summary:

As an Electrical Engineer specializing in Mixed-Signal and FPGA Systems, you are responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and integration of rugged embedded hardware products within NAI’s Configurable Open Systems Architecture (COSA) platform. Requirements

• Design and review schematics for embedded mixed-signal circuit boards used in rugged, high-reliability environments.

• Develop and debug analog, discrete, and high-speed differential interfaces (e.g., ADCs, signal conditioning, RS-422/485, Ethernet, video).

Summary:

Working with senior design staff, you will be assisting in solving major and complex engineering problems in one or more phases of a developmental project involving analysis, research design, Hardware circuit design, board bring up, development, fabrication and / or testing of a device or system. The electrical engineer will use schematics, FPGA Design and debug tools to achieve daily work tasks. Conducts the development of each assignment, coordinating engineering personnel assigned to each activity applicable to the particular assignment. Has some latitude for unreviewed action or decision; assignments are broad in nature usually requiring appreciable originality and ingenuity.

Requirements

• Help design, develop, modify and evaluate complex devices and / or systems. Assist in conceiving methods and alternatives for satisfying product goals, specifications and requirements of the project/assignment.
• Performs original complex analysis and design work of system and component parts in accordance with specifications.
• Designs or selects commercially available equipment, coordinates design results with other design groups: collaborates with other engineers to evaluate the merits of the design and makes changes accordingly.
• Conducts independent technical investigations involving the origination or modifications of material, components, or process specifications and requirements. Evaluates vendor capabilities to provide required products or services.
• Assists in preparation of bids and proposals as required.
• Circuit design and debugging experience with SBCs, CPUs, microprocessors, memory (DDR), SOC, FPGA (VHDL), and bus protocols (such as PCIe, I2C, SPI)

Summary:

As the Prototype and Rework Technician, you read schematics and cable drawings to construct engineering prototypes and implement circuit changes. You manufacture cables and wiring harnesses to support engineering development and production test fixtures and systems within a high-reliability electronics manufacturing environment at North Atlantic Industries.

• Solder components and jumper wires for prototyping while using a microscope.
• Build Mil-Spec cables, cable harnesses, and test fixtures to support engineering development and production testing.

Summary:

Senior Software Engineer I is responsible for the development of software programs that align with the overall goals of our business. It is the responsibility of this individual to ensure that the software development fully aligns with our business needs and identify ways that existing software may be modified to improve functionality. Senior Software Engineer I may be involved with different projects including, but not limited to:

• Board Support Package (BSP) development of software needed to support the Single Board Computer (SBC) product line.
• Development of software including Embedded and Software Support Kit (SSK).
• Testing including Design Verification Testing (DVT) and Automated Testing (ATP) needed to support the motherboard or module products.
• Collaborating with the design and test engineers to develop test plans and test procedures.
• Linux kernel and driver development for BSPs, including creation of drivers from datasheets, porting from one Linux distro to another as well as porting from one Linux kernel version to another, and using tools such as Yocto or Buildroot.

Requirements

• Taking ownership of software-related issues and working toward finding solutions in a timely and efficient manner
• Assisting and designing, coding, and debugging software as needed
• Assisting with generation and review of product and design documentation as needed
• Interfacing with design and test engineers throughout the product development cycle.
• Interfacing with embedded hardware and system engineers to define and design system solutions.

Production Operator II is responsible for working with computers to process daily production. Production Operator II must be able to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
