CB3
8 CANBus Channels, CAN 2.0 A/B Protocol or J1939 Protocol
The CB3 is an NAI Configurable Open Systems Architecture™ (COSA®) module that delivers rugged, high-density CAN bus communications. Designed for seamless integration with NAI embedded boards and systems, the CB3 features eight independent, galvanically-isolated channels, each of which can be individually programmed and configured to support a wide range of communication requirements.
The CB3 offers per-channel programmability for either classical CAN 2.0 A/B or SAE J1939, providing maximum flexibility and making it well-suited for applications such as vehicle and engine control and monitoring, equipment networking, avionics integration for mission and vehicle control, and general control and monitoring of defense subsystems.
The CB3 supports data rates up to 1 Mbps (per ISO 11898-1/-2), features Initiated Built-in-Test (IBIT), and integrates seamlessly within the NAI COSA® ecosystem for modular, field-proven embedded systems.
