RTD Modules provide six measurement channels, and feature a Platinum four wire configuration. The four wire mode (default) is the most accurate, providing excellent stability and repeatability. The RTD channels use individual A/D converters. All RTD channels are self-calibrating because each channel, on a rotating basis, is automatically calibrated to eliminate offset and gain errors. Programmability for range and wire mode allows for optimization of scaling/resolution, as well as flexibility in reading many RTD types.
