NAI offers a variety of PCI and PCIe-based Multifunction I/O boards optimized for I/O intensive sense, response and communication requirements in rugged defense, commercial aerospace, and industrial applications.

Designed to be combined with our pre-integrated smart function modules, our DSP-based designs offer unusually high function-density, high resolution and accuracy, and low power consumption.

And, with over 70 pre-integrated I/O, measurement, simulation or communication functions to choose from, NAI’s modular approach provides unmatched levels of design flexibility and SWaP optimization.

Features

  • Support for 3-5 independent, smart function modules (model dependent)
  • Standard features include extensive diagnostics, continuous Background Built-in-Test (BIT), auto-ranging of signal inputs, self-calibration, galvanic isolation, and field-programmable parameters.
  • Connections via front panel, rear panel, or both
  • Both air-cooled and conduction cooled versions available.
  • Commercial and rugged models
  • Operating temperature: 0° C to 70° C commercial, -40° C to +85° C rugged
  • A Free Windows PNP Software Support Kit (SSK) with board-specific library (DLL) and source code is supplied to facilitate application development.
