Summary:

The Southwest Regional Sales Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all sales operations and activities within the Southwest region, encompassing states including: TX, NM, OK, LA, AR, etc. This role will involve providing short and long-term goals for representatives, forecasting sales activities, delivering technical support directly to customers, leading initiatives to drive new business, conducting product training, generating quotes, and ensuring target revenue attainment. Summary:

The NPI SMT lead is responsible the evaluation of new product designs with an eye towards efficient high quality repeatable manufacturing process. The lead will be supporting a high mix, low volume environment. They are tasked with resolving process challenges, including SMT/TH defects and assembly flow improvements. Summary:

The Application Engineer II will provide customer technical support in both pre and post sales settings. In addition, he/she will have the ability to communicate internally any product utilization challenges and/or customer specific requirements. The Application Engineer will support our Industries’ products and will report to the AE Manager.

Provide pre & post sales product information, advice and technical assistance to prospects towards the goal of achieving new design wins.

Via telephone and email correspondence with customer, understand project technical system requirements.

Advise and participate with the prospect during customer test and evaluation activities.

Work to develop a position as “first line” technical interface during the design-in process.

Coordinate additional support activities and post-sales technical support with engineering departments.

BSEE / BSET or a four year degree in a technical discipline required.

Some knowledge of embedded Bus architectures (VME, CPCI, etc.), Processors and/or related products a plus.

3+ years of experience in a technical support role desired.

Summary:

The Qualification Test Technician possesses knowledge of industry test standards and the associated environmental and electromagnetic interference methods. They are responsible for testing, data collection, and communication of data to the engineering staff and management.

Requirements

Supervise outside laboratory tests.

Plan and conduct test methods in accordance with military and commercial standards for confidence.

Summary:

A highly experienced Electronics Packaging / Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience. In this role, you will develop advanced military grade single board computers, plug-in module power supplies and embedded systems. 

Requirements

Leadership: 

Work closely with cross functional teams to develop new products. 

Reviews project progress with management to ensure that the product meets designs goals and timeline.

Train and mentor one or more junior engineers, fostering their growth.

Mechanical Design:

Design packaging for electronic components like printed circuit boards, connectors, cables for use in rugged environments including laboratory, terrestrial and aerospace applications. 

Plan and collaborate with the electrical engineering team to create multiple variations of existing and new products. 

Ensuring the new design will survive in rugged environments. 

Provide mechanical packaging concept and feasibility study at proposal stage. 

Design thermal management solutions for electronic components.

Create detailed drawings for fabrication purposes. 

Perform tolerance studies to ensure worst case conditions do not impede performance.  

Mechanical Analysis:

Perform printed circuit board level and system level structural analysis and fatigue analysis. 

Perform printed circuit board level and system level thermal analysis for conduction and convection cooled products. 

Prototype and testing:

Lead the mechanical engineering design process, from concept to prototype through testing and troubleshooting.

Develop product test plans for both informal and formal design testing.

Manufacturing Support:

Experience in Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFM/DFMA)

Strong drafting skills with experience/knowledge in assembly tooling, fixture design 

Support new design handoff to production environment. 

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Strong working knowledge of packaging electrical components like printed circuit boards, connectors, cables in rugged environments including ground and aerospace applications.

A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (BSME) required, with a strong understanding of electronics packaging concepts.

10 years of experience in an engineering and manufacturing environment.

Proven experience in solving packaging challenges for printed board assembly designs in demanding ground and aerospace environments.

Demonstrated CAD proficiency, particularly in Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks and ASMEY14.5-2018 and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) standards. 

Demonstrated knowledge of strength of materials, vibration, and fatigue. Ability to analyze and understand results and implement design changes to improve structural performance of electronic systems. This includes proficiency in FEA software, particularly ANSYS Mechanical, to perform modal, random vibration, shock, and other structural analyses. 

Demonstrated knowledge of heat transfer mechanisms and principles to analyze, understand results and implement design changes to improve thermal performance of electronic systems. This includes familiarity in Autodesk CFD software package or similar, to perform conduction and convection thermal analyses.

Summary:

A PCB Layout Designer will assist engineers in the design and development of complex, detailed layouts of printed circuit boards. In this position, the Layout Designer will be responsible for creating multilayer high-density printed circuit board designs using PCB Layout Tools, per Electrical and Mechanical Engineering input. The fabrication drawing package will be created per IPC and/or Mil spec.

Requirements

Performs detailed layout design and documentation of printed circuit boards.

Produces two-dimensional (2D) CAD work product output for fabrication and assembly.

Works from schematics, net lists, part lists, and basic description of the board function, constraints, configuration, and arrangement as defined by engineering.

Checks drawings versus the project input for correctness and conformance to standard engineering drafting practices and standards.

Create electronic library symbols, geometry, footprints etc.

Work with system management including file maintenance, backup and storage.

Qualifications

BS in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline or a minimum of three years’ experience preferred.

Signal Integrity analysis experience helpful.

Experience working with Allegro.

Language Skills

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are required for effective interface with all internal and external contacts.

Requirements

Advanced usage/knowledge of electronic measuring equipment.

Summary:

Under limited supervision, perform mechanical assembly, soldering and general operations on difficult and complex subassemblies and final assemblies.

Requirements

Read and interpret complex mechanical diagrams and instruction sets.

Build assemblies of high complexity.

Utilizing a high degree of proficiency, assemble, wire and solder various components within circuits and chassis.

May be required to perform continuity checks and rework.

Qualifications

Summary:

The Production Operator works in an electronics manufacturing environment assembling printed circuit boards (PCBs). This role involves using computers and equipment to perform daily production tasks. Following instructions and maintaining attention to detail are essential to ensuring the quality of the products. Keeping the workspace clean and organized is a key part of maintaining high production standards. The Production Operator will be trained to operate various machines, including Pick and Place, Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), Selective Soldering equipment, and hand assembly. Flexibility is important, as the operator frequently moves between tasks and functional areas. Teamwork, punctuality, and communication are critical to the success of this role.

Requirements

Organize and label products to ensure proper tracking during production.

Apply gels and adhesives to components as part of the assembly process.

Prepare electronic components for assembly into PCBs.

Use basic hand tools for mechanical assembly tasks.

Utilize machines to assemble printed circuit boards.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Summary:

Working with senior design staff, you will be assisting in solving major and complex engineering problems in one or more phases of a developmental project involving analysis, research design, Hardware circuit design, board bring up, development, fabrication and / or testing of a device or system. The electrical engineer will use schematics, FPGA Design and debug tools to achieve daily work tasks. Conducts the development of each assignment, coordinating engineering personnel assigned to each activity applicable to the particular assignment. Has some latitude for unreviewed action or decision; assignments are broad in nature usually requiring appreciable originality and ingenuity.

Requirements

Help design, develop, modify and evaluate complex devices and / or systems. Assist in conceiving methods and alternatives for satisfying product goals, specifications and requirements of the project/assignment.

Performs original complex analysis and design work of system and component parts in accordance with specifications.

Designs or selects commercially available equipment, coordinates design results with other design groups: collaborates with other engineers to evaluate the merits of the design and makes changes accordingly.

Conducts independent technical investigations involving the origination or modifications of material, components, or process specifications and requirements. Evaluates vendor capabilities to provide required products or services.

Assists in preparation of bids and proposals as required.

Circuit design and debugging experience with SBCs, CPUs, microprocessors, memory (DDR), SOC, FPGA (VHDL), and bus protocols (such as PCIe, I2C, SPI)

Qualifications

BS in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline. 3-8 years’ experience required.

Language Skills

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are required for effective interface with all internal and external contacts.

Must have experience using test equipment (i.e. Oscilloscopes, Logic analyzers) Excellent analytical skills. Must be able to work with versatility and flexibility in a multi-task environment.
