Dual Function Slot MOSA Nano Remote Data Concentrator Unit (RDC)
NIU2A-RDC-01 is a Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) Remote Data Concentrator with low power high performance ARM Cortex -A9 processing. 512 MB RAM, 32 GB SATA Flash, 2 x 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet and optional Fiber Optic Ethernet support.
The NIU2A-RDC-01 is ideally suited to support several air, land and sea platforms requiring processing, monitoring, management or control of MIL-STD-1553, ARINC-429/575 communication devices and discrete IO. The NIU2A-RDC-01 takes advantage of NAI’s COSA® Architecture: a flexible, adaptable, configurable, modular and expandable solution that offers an almost infinite number of configurations while eliminating hardware and software NRE redesign. NIU2A-RDC-01 supports fully remote operation over Ethernet or OS support includes PetaLinux and Wind River VxWorks.
