EM2
Dual-Port Ethernet NIC based on Intel® E610 Controller, PCIe x1 I/F to Processor
The EM2 Ethernet NIC function module integrates the Intel® E610 Ethernet Controller with supporting PHY, magnetics, and interface circuitry to provide dual-port 100/1000BASE-T Ethernet connectivity. The module interfaces directly to the host via a PCI Express (PCIe) connection, enabling standard OS-based driver support and operation.
The EM2 is intended for use with NAI Single Board Computers (SBCs) and multifunction I/O boards that support external function module PCIe interfaces. When integrated, the EM2 provides additional Ethernet port capability under direct control of the host processor without requiring custom software beyond standard / native OS drivers.
