79G5P

PCIe Development Board, Time-Triggered Ethernet (TTE), ARINC 664 Part 7 (AFDX®), IEEE 802.3

The 79G5P is a full-height, half-length PCIe board with the NAI TE2 function module, which supports three traffic classes: Time-Triggered Ethernet SAE AS6802 (TTEthernet™), ARINC 664 Part 7, and Avionics Full-Duplex Switched Ethernet (AFDX®) with the IEEE 802.3 protocol. The TE2 is a single-channel, tri-redundant Ethernet communications interface module, making it an ideal solution for engineers planning to upgrade to either ARINC 664 Part 7 (AFDX) or TTEthernet protocols without changing hardware.

Providing the TE2 functionality on a standard PCIe form factor board, the 79G5P operates as an end system node, allowing for easy development and integration into standard motherboard or computer systems with a PCIe bus interface. Additionally, the 79G5P board can be configured to support the EM1 dual-port GbE Network Interface Controller (NIC) communications function module, and custom configurations are available.
