68G5P
3U OpenVPX Multifunction I/O Board with External PCIe & SATA II I/F
The 68G5P is a rugged 3U OpenVPX board designed for demanding aerospace, defense, and industrial applications. It offers high-performance I/O capabilities and can support up to three NAI Configurable Open Systems Architecture™ (COSA®) smart function modules, making it versatile and customizable. One standout feature is its direct access to select modules via backplane PCIe x1 and/or SATA II interfaces, enabling external host SBC function expansion. This allows engineers and systems architects to easily configure the board with required modules and accelerate SWaP-optimized system deployment.
Features
- 3U OpenVPX compatible profile: SLT3-PAY-2U2U-14.2.17, MOD3-PAY-2U2U-16.2.16-2
- Data and Control Interfaces: Data plane: 1 x1 PCIe, Control Plane: 2x 10/100/1000Base-T, 2x 1000Base-KX
- IPMC support (configured option): VITA 46.11 Tier-2 compatible
- Supports Three NAI smart I/O function modules: (1) Independent x1 SerDes interface to function module slots 1 & 2, (2) Independent external 1 x1 PCIe interface to function module slot 3, (3) Independent external SATA II interface to function module slot 2
The 68G5P includes SSKs to support multiple operating systems. In addition, SSKs are supplied with source code and board-specific library I/O APIs to facilitate system integration.
NAI’s Configurable Open Systems Architecture™ (COSA®) offers a choice of over 100 smart I/O, communication, and Ethernet switch functions, providing the highest package density and greatest flexibility of any multifunction I/O board in the industry. Preexisting, fully-tested functions can be combined quickly and easily in an unlimited number of ways. Choose the ideal platform for your application below. Each I/O function has dedicated processing, unburdening the system Single Board Computer (SBC) from unnecessary data management overhead.
