NAI's Custom-On-Standard-Architecture™ (COSA®) helps customers eliminate the need to design custom board and data acquisition systems for most sense-and-response applications.

COSA enabled designs incorporate an innovative mix of processors and FPGAs that perform complex and time-critical tasks such as motion control, process control, monitoring, data transfer, and communications. Select a standard platform such as, cPCI, OpenVPX (3U or 6U), PCIe or VME and customize it for your unique application with our vast range of function modules.

With all the advantages of COTS products, our modular and highly adaptive programmable architecture ensures that we can meet your requirements with a fully tested solution that does not require custom design or NRE.

  1. Select board or rugged system subject to your system requirements.
  2. Customize it in modular fashion - selecting from >40 available, fully tested I/O, Communication or Ethernet switch functions.
  3. Modify board configuration as necessary if or when requirements change.
