Engineering
NAI employs an extremely talented, world-class team of engineers that take advantage
of the latest techniques in designing products that have achieved industry leadership.
Working closely with our customers, NAI’s engineering team can tailor a creative
solution while retaining the advantages of COTS products. NAI frequently acts as
an extension of the customers’ engineering team, providing the most appropriate
COTS or modified COTS solutions.
Quality
We exercise uncompromising integrity and quality in everything we do. Attention
to quality is reflected in our investments in R&D, software design tools, state-of-the-art
manufacturing, test and verification equipment as well as IT infrastructure. From
specification through design, development and manufacturing, NAI commits itself
to continuous quality improvement to help drive us toward our goal of exceeding
customer expectations.
NAI is certified to both the ISO9001:2008 and AS9100:2009 Quality System Standards.
In addition, NAI meets the requirements of Government Specification MIL-I-45208A
and Federal Aviation Regulations FAR21 AND FAR 45.15. All quality procedures are
documented in detail in our Quality System Procedures (QSP) manual.
Manufacturing /Continuous Improvement Initiatives
Only certified suppliers are used to build NAI’s circuit boards. To assure the highest
quality, we perform final product assembly, special processing, final electrical
tests as well as Quality Assurance and Service and Support. Our manufacturing team
has adopted lean-based philosophies and continuous improvement initiatives. Investments
in green-based technologies such as process-controlled conformal coating and automatic,
aqueous management systems demonstrate NAI’s commitment to operating in ways that

Total Customer Satisfaction is our number one goal. We strive to make the purchasing
decision process as seamless as possible for our customers. To help achieve that
goal, a full line of support aids are available and can be downloaded directly from
our website. These tools include software drivers and libraries, product manuals,
data sheets, product specifications, applications notes, FAQ’s and an unrivaled
product configurator that allows customers to configure board-level or system solutions
–– tailored to their specific needs.
We provide the highest level of service and long term support to our customers.
Expert calibration, repair, and upgrades are performed at our state-of-the-art ISO
9001:2008 and AS9100:2009 registered facility in Long Island, New York. Customers can
submit their equipment for calibration, repair or upgrade by using our online RMA
system. In addition to these tools, NAI maintains a staff of Application Engineers
ready to answer customer questions and resolve technical issues.
