This single slot card incorporates thirty two (32) 2A isolated high current drivers, high-side switched outputs with short circuit protection and extensive diagnostics. Wrap-around testing continuously monitors each channel for short circuit, unconnected loads, missing loads and for shorted channels. Any failure will trigger an interrupt within 5 seconds of channel diagnostic completion. The card is divided into two groups of 16 channels that can be independently powered up or down. VME interface power is opto-isolated from the switched external power.
